Opening Arrangements

The 2017/2018 academic year shall begin on 6th November 2017 with arrival and registration. However, all new students are required to report to the College on 30^th October, 2017 for orientation.

Requirements

Tuition Fees

All first year and second year Post Basic students are required to pay MK950,000. 00 being tuition fees per academic year or at least half, MK475,000. 00, before registration.

Mode of payment

Fees should be paid in advance through the allocated bank accounts for continuing students and bring a deposit slip during registration.  New students should contact the College to get their unique bank numbers for fees payment.

In addition to University of Malawi recommended financial contribution, first year post basic students are required to bring the following:

1. Original MSCE Certificate/Notification of results.
2. Two passport size photographs.
3. Uniform:
   • Female – 2 white dresses (or skirt and blouse) and 2 Nurses’ caps
   • Males    – 2 white safari suits and 2 epaulets.
   • All students – 2 pairs of black covered flat shoes, name tag
4. Stethoscope
5. Thermometer
6. Nurses’ Watch
7. Blood Pressure machine
8. A blue or white cardigan for females
9. 2 green dresses for females (required during Community Health Nursing experience)
10. 2 green dust coats for males (required during Community Health Nursing experience)
11. 1 pair of white gumboots for Medical Surgical, Maternal and Child Health Nursing experience.
