The module will prepare you to advance in child health nursing with emphasis on responding to a range of childhood emergencies, assessment and management of acutely and chronically ill children and their families. In addition, the module will provide knowledge on different approaches in advanced child health nursing.
The module comprises four units and under each unit there are specific content guidelines and specifications of students’ activities and resources required. In each unit of the module case scenarios and learner activities are used to apply theoretical principles and current evidence to the realities of child nursing practice.
