This module is designed to provide the learners with advanced knowledge and skills of community health nursing, and foster appropriate attitudes, to enable them to assess and analyse the health of communities. Learners will use this data to address community health needs using evidence based approaches. The focus of this module is on application of the Community Health Nursing Process and analysis of relevant community health programmes and Policies. Learners will also analyse current trends and issues in Community Health Issues in Nursing

• analyse population interventions utilizing articulated health promotion models.
• evaluate the Primary Health Care Approach to population health.
• analyse interventions and initiatives addressing community health programmes
• develop tools to assess, monitor, evaluate and strengthen community health programmes and systems.
• discuss current trends and Issues in Community health nursing.
