Kamuzu College of Nursing has one faculty, the Faculty of Nursing. It has five academic departments and offers five programmes. The faculty ensures that programmes offered prepare graduate nurses with a high level of professional ability, able to contribute to the overall development of a healthy society.

The graduates of the programmes register with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi and are eligible to practice as Registered Nurses and Midwives after passing their licensing examinations.
