Kamuzu College of Nursing, a constituent college of the University of Malawi, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant post:
|Location||Kamuzu College of Nursing campuses. Initially the incumbent will be posted to Lilongwe campus but his duties will require constant travels to other KCN campuses in Blantyre. Candidate may be posted from one campus to the other due to the exigencies of duty.|

Reporting to the Head of Behavioural and Human Biological Sciences Department, the main purpose of the job is to support the implementation of practical aspects of teaching and learning.
- Setting up reagents, specimens and tools
- Carrying out experimental trials
- Maintaining stores stocks orders
- Drafting practical procedures manual
- Maintaining and standardising equipment
- Conducting practical demonstrations
- Training staff and students in the use of equipment, machines and tools
- Preparing reports
Education and Qualifications
Applicants must have: at least a Diploma in biomedical sciences from an accredited institution with three years experience in science laboratory work. Those with experience working in a science laboratory in an institution of higher education will have an added advantage. Those with Bachelor’s degrees need not apply.
