| Kamuzu College of Nursing Library
falls within the framework of the University of Malawi Library System.
It has two sites: similar levels of service are offered in both the
Lilongwe and Blantyre Campus branches, but services are coordinated from Lilongwe. Our objective is to provide high quality current information in support of teaching, learning, research and outreach both to our Faculty and Students and also to the wider health community. We have competent staff, a range of current books, a well equipped Internet Cafe with about 20 connected computers with a VSAT on site. We access HINARI, the WHO facilitated PubMed service and a huge range of other electronic journals and other content. Some of these are made available through the INASP PERI and eIFL programmes. We provide training in both accessing and assessing e-content for our own clients and others who would benefit. |
